Maai Tajo is an old lady who along with her husband Raheem resides somewhere in the border village of undivided India. Everyone respects the couple very much. Radha (daughter of Chandar) is very close to Maai & feeds her with Lassi every day. Everyone in the village lives a happy life with unity. But this happiness doesn`t last long, and the riots began with the strike of the news of partition.
