PAATI Story :

A deaf-mute couple, communicating through sign and a writing slate, finds their idyllic life disrupted by a pregnancy. While the news should be a blessing, a neighbor’s insensitive comment about hereditary disability triggers a psychological breakdown in the husband. Beyond the Slate explores the corrosive power of societal stigma and the redemptive power of family. It culminates in a powerful moment where the protagonist discards his slate"his crutch"to embrace a future defined not by fear, but by faith in his unborn child.
