KUDURE BANTHU KUDUDRE is a play written by Ramachandra Deva. Kudure (a horse) is used as a metaphor to portray a human being's dreams and ambitions. Every individual aspires to fulfill their dreams and ambitions. Similarly all the characters in this play also have their shares of dreams and ambitions. They are constantly trying to escape their reality by chasing their dreams. Do they fulfill their dreams? Are they successful in making their ambitions come true? Or do they remain stuck between their dreams and their reality? Do they hit reality pretty hard? While the characters are all dreaming to create a new life, there is always a reminder about destruction. Irrespective of this very reminder the characters continue to dream. What keeps a human's soul active and alive? Dreams, isn't it. Kudure Banthu Kudure portrays this very conflict between reality and dreams.
