"Will I Come to Understand Who You Are?"

A young woman dreams of rebuilding her life after a divorce... Recovering from disappointment, she begins striving to do something different. During this time, she meets a young actor. Their acquaintance turns into love, and she also receives an invitation to work at his rehabilitation centre for drug addicts, that too for an attractive salary. Hoping for a new life, she accepts the decision.

While working at the organisation, the experience she gains, the awareness that she is doing something meaningful for society, and the support of her new relationship make her happy. However, as time passes, some shocking truths begin to unfold before her. Faced with betrayal, deception, and the need to compromise her values, her emotional world collapses. Betraying her own principles is something she cannot accept.

In such a situation, she arrives at a decisive turning point. Will she surrender to the circumstances, or will she stand up again by preserving her identity, self-respect, and values? This sensitive and thought-provoking full-length one-act play seeks answers to these questions.

"Will I Come to Understand Who You Are?" written by veteran Marathi author, playwright, and director Suresh Khare, explores a woman's emotional world, her struggles, and her journey of self-discovery. Through the conflicts of temptation, trust, deception, and moral values, it offers a precise commentary on the realities confronting today's society.
