Astitva' is a story of a family struggling to maintain their existence. We come across 'Santosh Hasolkar' who is the sole breadwinner of the family and is about to retire from his job. He has to vacate his house in south-mumbai, once he retires. He decides to bid farewell to the mumbai city after retirement. His children oppose his decision. His son, 'Mayur', is perplexed for being forced to leave his residence and has nowhere to go. His daughter 'Darshana' is also struggling to find a middleground amidst the chaos and is trying to somehow survive in mumbai. Their mother 'Pratima', on the other hand, seems hopeless as she is being forced to leave a house that was a home for her since the past 30 years!

'Astitva' brings you a journey of existence of a man which is a potential threat to the existence of his loved ones!
