BHRAMACHA BHOPLA is a brilliant farcical comedy written by Prahlad Keshav Atre, first performed in 1935 and one of the best classics in Marathi theatre. The story of the play revolves around a fictional character, Kacheshwar, and a hilarious and unforgettable fictional incident in his life that creates confusion and misunderstanding, leading to enormous humorous situations. Though Atre has used the play to comment on social and emotional issues in society, it takes the audience on a roller coaster of laughter.
