This is a famous Historical Marathi Drama showing the brave story of Dharmveer Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. After Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Sambhajimaharaj struggled with Mughal Emporer Aurangzeb for nine years with great success. Unfortunately he was caught by Mukarrbkhan at Sangmeshwar. His glorious story is very well shown in this drama, also the bond between Sambhajimaharaj & his wife Yesubaui is portrayed very beautifully. This story of bravery ends with the brutal murder of Dharmveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

This play had profound success in Goa, Sindhudurg, and Karnataka & performed 65 successful shows. And now ready for Pune. Dr Kashinath Ghanekar, the veteran Actor made this play famous with his acting skills. Ganesh Thakur the well-known, experienced Director, Actor, and winner of the First Rank Award for his acting of Panaji Kala Academy, Goa for consecutive 3 yrs is performing the Character of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
