Reva is a free-spirited girl who lives entirely in the moment, the daughter of Vandana-an eternally "happy-go-lucky" woman. Aditya, on the other hand, is her complete opposite: a man who worries about the future, regrets the past, and ruins his present in the process. When the two meet, they fall in love despite being poles apart.

"LAGLI PAIJ?" is the story of this unlikely couple whose accidental encounter unexpectedly leads to marriage. Reva loves betting-not for the win or loss, but for the thrill that builds in between. Aditya is trapped in a monotonous routine, frustrated because his job was never meant for him; he always dreamed of starting his own business.

On Reva's birthday night, just as Aditya gathers the courage to confess his growing frustration, Reva distracts him with a strange request: help her cross-check the numbers on a lottery ticket. What follows is unbelievable-15 out of 16 numbers match.
