SAFARCHAND Story :

About Safarchand is a heart wrenching compelling human story set in the village of Khanpora on the LOC. The play speaks of the trials of the beautiful Jammu and Kashmir valley and its youth through its characters and their struggles. Four people - Mohammed, Shyamlal, Anwar and Jhelum, completely unrelated to each other, meet at a point in time and bond for eternity. They speak passionately about what each of them metaphorically stands for and their positivity and promise echoes through the valley.
