THARTA THARTA THARENA Story :

THARTA THARTA THARENA

Ramchandra Dixit (Sagar Deshmukh) a guy in his late 30s is bullied by his office colleagues for his kooky and outlandish behaviour and is forced to believe that he is good for nothing. All his life he is been compared to his whip-smart younger sister Gargie Dixit (Arpita Ghogardare). Ramchandra doesn’t have a single flair to impress anybody and has no friends. A little bit of respect is what he expects and to achieve that, he decides that the woman he gets married to should compulsorily be drop-dead gorgeous so that everybody would take him seriously. But he gets rejected many times, a tally of 74 until this day! For the 75th time, he meets Shobhna Desai (Vanita Kharat) and as soon as he sees her, he runs away at the drop of a hat because she is nowhere close to what his expectations are about his wife. On the other hand, Shobhna has no expectations and has a complete understanding of how she looks, because of which nobody would accept her as a partner in the first instance. At 34 years old, Shobhna Desai has a limited time frame to get married as her father(Pradeep Joshi) has already suffered two heart attacks and before the third one, he wants to see her daughter happily married. Rejected on the first date but brought together by fate, Shobhna and Ramchandra accidentally meet again but this time with no expectations. They unexpectedly start enjoying each other’s company. Shobhna helps Ram to develop self-esteem and Ram’s unusual behaviour amuses her. Expectations are nothing but a hurdle in finding your right partner is what Tharta Tharta Tharena is all about! Shantanu Rangnekar plays 9 different characters with exquisiteness. Mrunal Manohar plays Ramchandra’s love interest.

THARTA THARTA THARENA is a full paisa vasool entertainment packed with humour, witty banter, and a mix of absurd situations. Watch stand-up acts for the first time in a play, with heartfelt moments about personal growth, friendship, love and ultimately marriage!
