1-Month Weekend Acting Workshop
21st February - 20th March**
The 1-Month Weekend Acting Workshop is designed for individuals who want to explore acting seriously but need the flexibility of weekend training. Whether you are an aspiring actor, a student, a working professional, or someone curious about theatre and self-expression, this workshop offers a structured and practical introduction to realistic acting.
This is not a shortcut course. It is a foundation-building programme rooted in theatre training, natural performance, and honest acting processes.
What Makes This Workshop Different
The focus of this workshop is realistic and truthful acting. Instead of teaching exaggerated expressions or dramatic tricks, the training helps participants understand how to behave naturally within imaginary circumstances.
Acting here is approached as:
Listening before speaking
Reacting instead of performing
Experiencing emotions rather than forcing them
Understanding human behaviour deeply
The goal is to help participants act with ease, presence, and authenticity.
Weekend Structure
Since the workshop runs on weekends from 21st February to 20th March, each session is designed to be intensive, focused, and highly practical.
Every weekend includes:
Theatre-based warm-up exercises
Body and voice awareness training
Acting technique drills
Improvisation sessions
Partner and group scene work
Feedback and reflection discussions
This structure ensures that even within a limited time frame, participants experience consistent growth.
Training Areas Covered
Participants will explore the core elements of acting through exercises and guided practice:
1. Understanding Realistic Acting
Learn the difference between -acting- and -being.- Discover how simplicity and truth create powerful performances.
2. Body & Voice Awareness
Actors work on posture, movement, breathing, projection, and subtle physical responses. The aim is control, not exaggeration.
3. Listening & Reacting
Most beginners focus on delivering lines. This workshop trains actors to listen deeply and respond truthfully - a crucial skill for theatre, film, and OTT.
4. Emotional Clarity
Participants learn how emotions arise from situations and objectives, instead of being artificially created.
5. Improvisation & Spontaneity
Improv exercises remove hesitation and fear. They help actors stay present and trust their instincts.
6. Scene Work
Short scenes are introduced to apply techniques practically. Participants experience character relationships, intentions, and subtext.
Who Can Join
This workshop is open to:
Aspiring actors preparing for theatre, film, or OTT
College students interested in performance
Office-going and corporate professionals
Content creators and performers
Anyone wanting to improve communication and confidence
No prior acting experience is required. The process is beginner-friendly yet disciplined.
What You Gain
By the end of the month, participants will:
Understand the basics of realistic theatre
Feel more confident performing in front of others
Improve emotional awareness and expression
Develop better listening and communication skills
Reduce stage fear and self-consciousness
Beyond acting, the workshop strengthens personal confidence and clarity.
Why Weekend Training Works
Weekend workshops allow participants to:
Balance professional or academic commitments
Absorb learning gradually
Reflect and practise between sessions
Stay consistent without burnout
This format is ideal for those who want serious training without disrupting their weekly routine.
Our Philosophy
We believe acting is not a gift reserved for a few. It is a skill that can be learned through structured practice and honest effort. This workshop emphasises discipline, process, and authenticity over shortcuts or quick fame.
The focus remains on building a strong foundation - because strong foundations create long-term growth.
