Eric Morris' method recognizes the fact that actors have emotional blocks, tension, insecurities and other preventions to achieving a fundamental state of being, and works to clear these blocks, rendering the actor truly organic. In this sense, Morris stresses that acting is essentially living and being.
We will delve into specific exercises that free the actor�s instrument from obstacles and encourage access to a full range of emotional expression, within an authentic moment to moment experience. In a Being State, the actor is then ready to masterfully experience craft techniques to create a believable character, relationship and the given circumstances of the material, organically. The work is truthful, courageous, irreverent and exciting, life and performance changes.
