Want to Act? Act in a Short Play.

Act-Atainment presents a 6 Weekend Acting Experience designed to give you the opportunity to learn acting by actually doing it.

Over six weekends, you will work with a group of actors, explore a script and its characters, rehearse scenes and ultimately perform a complete short play for the camera.

The programme is built around the process of creating a performance. Rather than learning only through classroom exercises, you will experience the journey of taking a character from the page to performance. You will work on characterisation, scene work, interaction with fellow actors, rehearsal and performance, while developing the fundamentals of acting along the way.

The final performance will be professionally filmed and edited into a high quality showreel, giving you a tangible piece of work that can be used as part of your acting portfolio.
