Decoding the script : An Actor's Workshop

The analysis of the script is a key step in any actor’s process. Actors make their acting choices from the knowledge given to them from their scripts and hence this process plays a very integral role in keeping the actor on a steady course with the writer's intentions and helps the actor plan the scene with playable objective, an essential action, etc. that helps the portrayal of any character.

Session Details:

Understand the difference between the text, context and subtext.
Learn the process to know and understand your scene.
Learn to identify the character’s circumstances, objectives, actions, etc.
Learn to identify the beats and place your pauses.
Get better at interpreting and organising details required for the scene.
