Decoding the script : An Actor's Workshop

The analysis of the script is a key step in any actorï¿½s process. Actors make their acting choices from the knowledge given to them from their scripts and hence this process plays a very integral role in keeping the actor on a steady course with the writer's intentions and helps the actor plan the scene with playable objective, an essential action, etc. that helps the portrayal of any character.

Session Details:

Understand the difference between the text, context and subtext.
Learn the process to know and understand your scene.
Learn to identify the characterï¿½s circumstances, objectives, actions, etc.
Learn to identify the beats and place your pauses.
Get better at interpreting and organising details required for the scene.
