Michael Chekhov Technique Workshop From : November 10, 2025 To : November 16, 2025 Start time : 8:00 AM End time : 2:00 PM Theatre Group : The Chekhov Work & Sic Infit Productions Faculty : Shivam Parekh Venue : Moon Walk studio Aram Nagar part. 2 Andheri (W) Mumbai - 400061, Maharashtra, India Sic Infit Productions and The Chekhov Work invites aspiring and professional actors to a 7-day intensive workshop rooted in the techniques of Michael Chekhov - a method that trains the actor�s imagination, body, and psyche as unified tools of expression. Guiding this journey is Shivam Parekh - FTII Alumnus and a certified teacher trained with MICHA (Michael Chekhov Association, USA). About the Workshop: This 7-day intensive introduces actors to the Michael Chekhov Technique through a balance of individual and ensemble practice. Sessions will include psychophysical exercises to enrich sensitivity and harmony of body and mind, and concrete tools to approach text, auditions, scenes, and character. Exploration will be carried out through monologues, short scene work, and ensemble work. Participants are expected to bring a 2-3 minute monologue or a performative text of their choice, memorized in advance, for use during the workshop explorations. The program is designed to strengthen the actor's imagination, technique, and artistic presence for both stage and screen.
