Program Details

Annual training program for aspiring theatre professionals to hone their skills in performance and theory.

STRUCTURE

The course is divided into two terms: Summer Term & Winter Term. Each term will comprise six months. Each term will include at least two stage productions performed at the LTG Auditorium. Each term will include at least three plays� review and discussion by the Rep members.

The course will introduce the participants to Script writing, Light design, Stage Direction, Live Music and various other facets of theatre.

The course will also try to explore various forms of theatre like Miming, Clowning, Physical Theatre, and more.

Acting Structure of the whole course will majorly focus on:

Characterisation

Diction & Speech

Physical, Emotional and Psychological identity of characters

Vocal Projection & Breathing Design

Body Movement & Choreography

Stage Movement & Blocking

Script interpretation & Dissection

Improvisation

Scene Work

ELIGIBLITY

This program is only open to individuals above the age of 18. Please review the minimum experience requirements below. If you do not meet the requirements, you can still apply and it will be up to the discretion of the selection committee to consider your application for the next round.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

Participation in 2 full-length theatre productions is mandatory. Prior experience in professional theatre is desirable, but not mandatory.

FEES

There is only an application fees of INR 200/- that needs to be submitted along with your form. There is no other fees for the program.

COMMITMENT

The program is based in New Delhi and will run from April 2024 to March 2025. Selected Repertory members must make themselves available both online and offline throughout this duration. Sessions will run for a minimum of three hours on weekdays and may become rigorous close to performance days.
