The Imaginative Body is a physical theatre workshop rooted in Kutiyattam and shaped through contemporary performance practices, including principles from Michael Chekhov and Alwin Nikolais. The workshop explores the body as a tool for imagination, character, presence, and storytelling, while investigating how principles of a classical form can be internalised and applied to contemporary performance.

The training will include movement, physical exploration, character work, improvisation, and working with text. The evenings will offer an optional space for artistic exchange, discussions, sharing, and conversations around performance practices and the participants� experiences.
