The Seed Savers Shadow Theatre Show & Workshop

Inspired by Bijal Vachharajani's 'The Seed Savers', illustrated by Jayesh Sivan, published by Pratham books under a CC - BY 4.0 license on StoryWeaver. Adaptation and Direction Shaili Sathyu Camera Raj Bachan Editing Siddhant Jaykar Voices Swati Singh & Devina Medda Technical support Jagmohan Bachan & Tanya Mahajan Originally commissioned by the Hyderabad Children�s Theatre Festival 2020 'The Seed Savers' is inspired by a real-life event about a group of women who join hands and courageously overcome a big problem they face every year. They are looking for a way to grow seeds that are happy. A journey that is full of challenges; a task that seems impossible; but, also a chance to sow happiness. The production uses shadow theatre techniques including hand shadows and images created using an overhead projector.
