G.O.A.T. (Grotesque Of All Time) is a not-quite-dance, not- quite-theatre performance that slips between inner monologue and absurd spectacle. The piece takes place backstage, an hour before a show that may or may not exist - the greatest show of all time.
Reality suspends. The fourth wall wobbles. A single performer glitches between two versions of self: the confident facade and the chaotic millennial with a to-do list longer than the script. Movement leads the story, and text interrupts, argues, and occasionally betrays it. The fourth wall doesn’t so much break as quietly dissolve.
From girlhood to artist to woman.
Through glitches, humour and bodily honesty, G.O.A.T. reveals the messy, tender, and often ridiculous process of trying to live up to one’s own version of whom they wish to be.
