Manjari Tawde is a school teacher and a single mother who lives with her only daughter, Prachitee, in South Mumbai. Prachitee is a corporate employee. She is fierce and fun-loving, but her overprotective mother is always worried about her future. Manjari is searching for a desirable groom for her daughter, but is not ready to accept any man who will change her daughter’s priorities. Prachitee has a male best friend with whom she prefers to speak on the phone on her building terrace to avoid her mother`s interference.
One day, while following this routine, she meets Shashank Joshi, an architect from Indore who has recently shifted on rent in their society. Their regular meetings on the building terrace turn into friendship, and soon they start liking each other. But Shashank is not able to express himself because of his hidden past. Whereas Prachitee hesitates to share her feelings, fearing her mother’s reaction. None of these challenges affects their blooming love until fate intervenes and their unspoken bond faces its toughest test.
