AN ACTOR'S VOICE & THE TEXT

A rigorous 11-day training lab for actors

Advanced Actor Training on Voice, Text & Presence - drawing from works & research of SITI Company (NYC), Odin Teatret (Denmark)

This is not a workshop on improving voice or speaking clearly. It is a focused actor training process, where voice and text become a way into presence, action and performance.

Across 11 days, actors will work through body, breath and voice to uncover how speech emerges from thought, impulse and intention�so that text is not delivered, but lived.

The space is intimate, demanding and process-driven-designed for actors who are ready to engage with their craft at a deeper level.

WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH:
- The ability to speak text as thought and action, not memorised delivery

- Tools to approach complex and layered texts (classical, poetic, contemporary)

- A stronger sense of presence in voice and speech

- A more integrated instrument-where body, breath, voice and imagination work together

THE WORK:
The workshop is not just about: voice technique.It is about:
training actors to think, feel, and act through language.

Voice becomes the bridge between:
body → imagination → thought → action → performance.

- Exploring layers of text: meaning, structure, imagery

- Voice in space: connection with partner and audience
