Looking for smooth shots even while walking with camera on uneven surface, well, here comes a rare and the lifetime opportunity for all camera geeks who wish to achieve magic with camera in India’s one and only Steadicam Workshop by Join films.
The technique was first introduced to the industry by Garret Brown and was later pioneered in India by Deep Pal, one of the most renowned cinematographer of India.
Who can become a Steadicam Operator?
Steadicam apparatus weighs approximately 50 lbs. It counterbalances the weight of the camera by distributing it across the front body. The operator is required to have a strong back to carry the weight for a longer period. It requires a tremendous amount of physical fitness and mental conditioning as well as exercises to take proper shots which is a pre-requisite. To attend the workshop, only basic educational qualifications are good.
