‘Working Title’ is ready with its new play, ONCE UPON A…TIGER! It is a play for children and adults, in simple Indian English. Through this play, the theatre group wishes to spark an interest and concern amongst young people regarding our wildlife and our forests.

The play has received the stamp of approval of Mr. Bittu Sahgal and his organization ‘Sanctuary’, who have been working for decades to save the tiger and the environment. The theatre group’s repertory includes some of the most commendable theatre productions in recent times such as MAHADEVBHAI (1892-1942) and 3 SAKINA MANZIL.

Jaimini Pathak and Suruchi Aulakh have worked in children’s plays earlier and have turned in some very good performances in plays such as THE BOY WHO STOPPED SMILING. Although the husband and wife duo are not acting in this one, the new play has been written and directed by Jaimini himself. Suruchi Aulakh is taking care of the production. The play’s cast includes Jagdish Rajpurohit, Vivek Tandon and Rajashre Tope.

Following is its initial schedule at Prithvi:

(Sat) 22nd and (Sun) 23rd July – 11:00 am
(Sat) 29th and (Sun) 30th July – 11:00 am
(Tue) 1st, (Wed) 2nd and (Thu) 3rd August – 11:00 am, 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
