Anju Makhija launches her Book of Plays...

Anju Makhija is a freelance writer, poet and a playwright. Her play THE LAST TRAIN was shortlisted for the BBC World Prize in 1999. Her book, which includes this play along with her IF WISHES WERE HORSES will be launched at the Oxford Bookstore, Churchgate on 6th June 2008.

Time: 6:00 pm.

Set in contemporary Mumbai, both the plays have been produced. IF WISHES WERE HORSES was directed by Anahita Uberoi while THE LAST TRAIN was directed by Ashok Bhantia. The chief guest for the event is Alyque Padamsee. There will be readings from the book by model-actress Kitu Gidwani and others.
