London Talents For The First Time In India...An Educational & Fun Show For Children And Parents...

FROM HERE TO THERELondon Talents is an educational research based theatre organisation that works closely with neuroscientists and focus groups of children to create multisensory performances that impart concepts through nonverbal theatre techniques. The organisation creates performances with adult specialist actors using movement, vocal rhythm, music, dance and play to explain the outcomes of sharing, caring and empathising with others. The productions have toured around UK and in other countries. The aim is to enrich children's 'social intelligence'. After show workshops and play sessions are interactive and aim at nurturing the educational and emotional quotient of the very young using theatre as a medium to deliver a concept.

London Talents now brings its show to young audiences and their parents in India. The show FROM HERE...TO THERE is for children in the age group of 1 to 7 years. Also included, following the main performance by specialised actors:

  • Workshops with the actors and the musician and free play sessions for the children to help them explore concepts from the show.

  • A session for parents with an education consultant and a parental awareness guide, which addresses day to day situations and equips parents with hands on techniques using drama in education.

  • Performance followed by optional show related games, worksheets & reading corner.
The performance and the sessions are scheduled to take place at the following venues in Mumbai:

Venue: Billabong High International School,Bhoomi Park, Marve Road, Malad West
Time: 11.00 am, 4.30 pm

Date: Friday, 17th February 2012
Venue: Hall of Quest, Nehru Planetarium (Basement), Nehru Centre, Dr Annie Besant Road, Worli
Time: 4.00 pm & 6.00 pm

Date: Saturday, 3rd March 2012
Venue: Windchimes, Bhalla House, 97 Hill Road, Bandra (West), Opposite St Andrews Church
Time: 10.45 am, 1.00 pm, 3.00 pm
