The acclaimed Pune-based theatre company Aasakta will visit Mumbai with two of their productions. MEIN HUUN YUSUF AUR YE HAI MERA BHAI has bagged the most number of awards at the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards (META) 2016.The play bagged 5 awards of the 9 nominations received. It was awarded for Best Innovative Sound Design (Mohit Takalkar & Darshan Patankar), Best Light Design (Pradeep Vaiddya), Special Jury Mention For Lead Actor Male (Ajeet Singh Palawat), Best Director (Mohit Takalkar) and for Best Play.

The play is already touring across India. It opened at the Ranga Shankara Theatre Festival 2015 followed by Prithvi Theatre Festival 2015, Vinod Doshi Theatre Festival 2016 and Rang-E-Mahaul festival.

The theatre company is also bringing its latest production MUKAAM DEHRU JILAA NAGAUR adapted from Paresh Mokashi's original farce MUKKAMPOST BOMBILWADI.
