The Academy of Theatre Arts, Mumbai University in collaboration with the Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi, and the West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur, presents the 9th National Vasant Natyotsav from 19th to 27th March 2016.

The Chief Guest for the event is noted theatre personality Dr Jabbar Patel. Other well-known actors and State functionaries will be present at the inaugural function.

A variety of plays in various languages and from various parts of the country will be staged at this festival: a complete schedule is available here.

The festival will also host a discussion titled 'Rangved' on 21st and 22nd March. The discussion will feature theatre practitioners and scholars who will speak on subjects ranging from direction and acting to the technicalities of theatre.
