BROTHERHOOD: THE HIP HOPERA is a solo, non-stop, high energy show using physical theatre, to tell the poignantly parodied story of two brothers living the Hip Hop life.

Taking the audience from the present to the 1970s, then fast forwarding thirty years into the future, it is written entirely in rhyme with cleverly crafted lyrics.

Sébastien Heins uses Hip Hop and R & B as well as elements of Reggae and Dancehall, homage to the playwright’s Jamaican roots.

The play is an entertaining and critical take on Hip Hop dreams and successes. It was staged at the United Solo Theatre Festival in New York City in 2012, and won Sébastien the Best Emerging Artiste Award.

Q Theatre Productions (QTP) brings the show to India.

Mumbai shows: From 24th to 26th February 2017 at Sitara Studio, Lower Parel, at 8 pm.

Bangalore show: 1st March 2017 at The Humming Tree.
