Gillo Theatre Repertory is busy preparing for its tour across western Maharashtra, scheduled from 7th to 18th October 2018. The repertory will be sharing performances, stories and dreams with children and local artists in Kamshet, Wada, Dharampur and Dahanu.

Local organisations have partnered with Gillo, including The Company Theatre Workspace, QUEST - Goshtarang, Kedi School, Tamarind Tree School, among others.

The Maharashtra leg of the tour will reach nearly 2500 children and adults.

Over the past nine years Gillo has been taking small but significant steps to make theatre accessible to children who otherwise do not have access to theatre performances, including children from under-served communities and non-urban areas. In the past Gillo has reached out to children from NGOs in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Kolkata, as well as villages in Maharashtra, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. In 2017 it started its project "Gillo On The Go".
