Passport Ka Rang is about Gopal Dasji who has to leave his home in Faridabad to go and live with his son in London since his wife has now passed away. It makes sense for him to become a British citizen like his son's family since it will now not be possible for him to live alone in India. But this is deeply anguishing for Gopaldasji who has been a freedom fighter & has deep bonds with his country of birth. However the Government of India soon announces a scheme of dual citizenship & Gopaldasji is relieved but will this scheme be implemented soon enough????

Gopaldasji's pain finds a profound echo with all those who have deep bonds of attachment & identification with their motherland.
