Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Festival 2022

The formidable lineup of this year's Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Festival will be paying tribute to Hyderabadi theatre legend late Qadir Ali Baig in the theatre festival named after him.
Featuring works of literary giants Manto, Sagar Sarhadi and Satish Alekar and including performances by Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Ramesh Talwar, Masood Akhtar, Bhageerathi Bai, Juuhi Babbar Soni and others, the festival is scheduled from November 16th to 20th at various venues including Moazzam Jahi Market courtyard, Taramati Baradari and Radisson Blu Plaza. The Festival this year has plays coinciding with 75 Years of India's Independence. Screenings, workshops and panel discussions on various aspects of theatre also form a part of this week-long festival. Curated by theatre revivalist Padmashri recipient Mohammad Ali Baig, the festival is now in its seventeenth year.
