Synopsis:

In two Acts, HOTHOUSE depicts the perils of unchecked power. It is the story of a mental institution whose corrupt bureaucratic managers are more mad than the patients.
Roote, on Christmas Day finds himself confronted by a dual crisis: one of his numerically identified patients, 6457, has died while another, 6459, has unexpectedly given birth. What follows is a blackly comic portrait of the insidious corruption of power.
