The Industrial Design Centre (IDC) at IIT Bombay will host a reading of 'My Conversations with a Peacock' by Ramu Ramanathan...

Playwright Ramu Ramanathan, noted for plays like COTTON 56 POLYESTER 84, 3 SAKINA MANZIL, COMRADE KUMBHKARNA, JAZZ, among various other plays, will read from ‘My Conversations with a Peacock’. 66 encounters with the peacock from Dharampur are narrated in this little piece of work bordering on poetry. The quirky relationship between the writer and the peacock unravels the everyday with irony, wit and pathos.

The reading will be hosted by the Industrial Design Centre (IDC) at IIT Bombay on Wednesday, 14th September 2016 at 6.20 pm.

Duration: 77 minutes.
