In its ongoing "Sea Reading" series, the St. Andrew's Centre for Philosophy & Performing Arts (SAPP) will present a reading of Drushti, a novella in Marathi.

Drushti by Anant Samant:

While visiting Fort Raigad at Mahad the author met four trekkers, hundred percent blind, who were also on the way to Raigad on their own to "see" the fort. This concept of the blind enjoying the VISION inspired the writer to pen Drushti, his 12th novel. A born-blind girl, a boy turned blind in his youth, a sea gone blind with stormy fury - the confrontation and friendship developing among these three is the plot, but the story is about vision of soul.

Date: Thursday,16th August 2018
Time: 7 pm.
Venue: St. Andrew's Centre for Philosophy & Performing Arts, Bandra, Mumbai.
