Asif Basra, RIP

MTG is saddened by the passing of actor Asif Basra, who died by suicide in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. The 53-year-old actor and voice coach, appeared in several, plays, films and was seen recently in the webseries, Paatal Lok and Hostages.

His industry colleagues shocked by the tragedy tweeted their condolences. Nawazuddin Siddiqui wrote, "It is unbelievable, yet another loss of a dear friend #AsifBasra - gem of a talent & full of life personality. Rest In Peace My Friend - More Power to Family."

Tillotama Shome wrote, "Asif Basra, may you and your bike, keep travelling across galaxies new. Deepest condolences to your family."
