Atul Parchure: Gone Too Soon

Marathi film and theatre industries reacted with shock and grief at the untimely death of actor Atul Parchure, on October 14, at the age of 57. The actor known mostly for his comic roles in plays like Tarun Turk Mhatare Ark, Priyatama, Vasu Chi Sasu, Amhi Ani Aamche Bap, Wah Guru to name a few. He also appeared in numerous Marathi and Hindi films and TV shows.

Parchure had been battling cancer for a while. He was rehearsing for a play, Suryachi Pille, before he passed away.

He is survived by his mother, wife and daughter. MTG conveys heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues and fans.
