This July, the Goan monsoon will turn beautifully musical as Malhar & The Sea returns with its third edition from July 24 to 26, 2026, at the stunning Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa. Organised by Showhouse, the festival is known as one of India's most exclusive luxury residential music and arts experiences.
Designed as a unique "luxury musication," the three-day festival brings together Indian classical music, Sufi, Ghazal, Bhajan, musical theatre, global tributes, fine dining and premium hospitality. For Indian theatre lovers, artistes, productions and cultural audiences, the festival offers much more than performances. It creates an intimate space where art, conversation and leisure come together.
The opening day on July 24 will feature a Dhrupad performance by Ustad Wasifuddin Dagar, Carnatic vocals and Abhang by Ranjani and Gayatri, and a musical theatre presentation by Danish Husain titled Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shayar Hoon. The performance celebrates the life and poetry of Sahir Ludhianvi, with over 18 of his classics performed live on stage. The evening will also include Sufi music by the Tasawwur Ensemble, led by Shivam Bhardwaj.
Day two will begin with a bhajan recital by Anup Jalota, followed by performances by Ronkini Gupta, Ustad Shujaat Khan, Priyanka Barve, and a tribute to The Beatles by Wanted Yesterday. The final day will open with a breakfast session featuring Fado Unplugged by Nadia Rebelo.
With its theme "One India, Many Voices," the festival celebrates India's diverse artistic traditions in a luxurious residential format. Guests will also enjoy curated culinary experiences, premium beverages, wellness activities and artiste interactions.
