After successful shows of THE PRESIDENT IS COMING AND PROJECT S.T.R.I.P., Q Theatre Productions presents the premiere of another new comedy - Neil LaBute's SOME GIRL(S).
The play is about a man who travels across India looking up old girlfriends that he might have wronged. Directed by Nadir Khan, the play has been adapted from its original setting in America by Akarsh Khurana.
The play marks the stage debut of two of Bombay's much loved personalities, RJ Tarana Raja Kapoor (of Jaggu & Tarana fame), and Channel [V] VJ Juhi Pande. The cast also includes theatre regulars Radhika Mital, Mukul Chadda and Shivani Tanksale.
Quasar Thakore Padamsee, one of the producers, shares, "It's quite an amazing balance we have managed to achieve. Shivani and Radhika are veterans of comedy and are among the more experienced actors in Bombay, while Mukul is wonderful as the 'offendin' man. But we were really surprised at the ease at which both Tarana and Juhi have taken to theatre. It is their first time working in this medium, but you really wouldn't know it. The cast is wonderful and play very well together."
