The Goshtarang Children's Theatre Fellowship, managed by noted stage and film actress Geetanjali Kulkarni, is calling for applications. The Fellowship seeks to connect skilled and trained theatre actors in the age group of 20 to 35 years with ashram schools across rural Maharashtra. The Fellowship provides a unique opportunity to the actors to take theatre to tribal children, thus taking the art of storytelling and theatre to the villages.

The Goshtarang Fellowship will choose 5 fellows at the end of a rigorous curation process. Applicants must have some experience or training in the field of theatre. They must possess a substantial knowledge of Marathi and should be willing to commit to a 9 months residency, where they will live in the villages, using simple amenities, and be in touch with the locals.

A generous stipend of 18,000 rupees will be given every month, and applicants are expected to stay the full duration of this 9 months residency.

To apply, applications must fill in the form provided in this link.

Last date to apply: 10th May 2018
