We, at Mumbai Theatre Guide collaborated with The Pomegranate Workshop, which is an Arts Education company, headed by Priya Srinivasan. The Pomegranate Workshop produced the play TALES FROM THE OTHER SIDE: UNTOLD HISTORIES AND HIDDEN TRUTHS. The play is co-written by Apeksha Harsh and Joy Fernandes, and has been directed by Joy Fernandes.

The production comprises young actors and is a modern, futuristic interpretation of classic fairy tales, besides being inspired by Shaun Te’s graphic novel, The Arrival.

The Pomegranate Workshop joined hands with Mumbai Theatre Guide for a review writing competition in which more than 50 students from Nahar International School, Don Bosco International School and Bombay Scottish School participated. These students underwent a workshop before they wrote their reviews.

We are pleased to announce the winners of the competition and we are happy to publish their reviews on our website Mumbai Theatre Guide.

The first place is jointly shared by Salena Sinha (Nahar International School) and Valerie Nayak (Bombay Scottish School).

The second place goes to Aryan Verulkar (Nahar International School).

The third place goes to Durga Nanjiwadekar (Don Bosco International School).

Mumbai Theatre Guide and The Pomegranate Workshop congratulate all the other students as well, who took part in this review writing competition, and who made the effort to be more active and reflective observers of the play they watched.
