Malad West has a new cafe-performance space now.

Actress Khushboo Tawde known for her roles in television: "Bulbul" in Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma and "Tejaswi" in Mere Sai says that this is her contribution to the Arts, and especially to the Goregaon-Malad areas in Mumbai. The cafe can easily be converted into a performance space and can host around 50 people.

For her initiative, Khushboo has tied up with writer-director Yugandhar Deshpande for curation of shows. Yugandhar has had previous experience with curating shows at The Hive, Sitara Studio and The Cuckoo Club. Yugandhar says that he is looking at hosting smaller performances such as solo plays, dramatic readings, poetry readings and music shows.

The venue has minimal lights but extra lights can be arranged as required and has sound equipment. Groups performing at the venue will have a 60:40 arrangement with their hosts based on ticket sales.
