Dr Praveen Bhole professor and head of the Lok Kala Kendra, established at Savitribai Phule Pune University send word about the National Centre for Folk Performing Arts Studies, Research and Welfare (popularly known as Lok Kala Kendra) that aims to "study and to do research in Folk and Traditional performing art forms in India as well as to conduct welfare activities for folk artistes. As we all know, due to the pandemic situation the folk artists could not perform for more than six months. Considering this, the Lok Kala Kendra initiated the project: LOKKALA 2020, in which 20 videos of 20 folk forms in and around Pune were broadcast consecutively for 20 days from 30th November to 19th December 2020. You can enjoy these videos on the YouTube channel: Lokkala2020."
