Gujarati Theatre lost a legend with the demise of Arvind Rathod. The stage, television and film actor passed away of a heart attack at the age of 80. He started his career as a photo journalist and went to become a successful actor, winning awards and the love of fans . He excelled in comedy, but acted in a range of plays like BA RETIRE THAY CHHE (with Padmarani with whom he had formed a successful stage pairing) BAPUNA RAJMA LILA LEHER, EK MURAKH NE AVI TEV and his most recent thriller 1 KALAK 23 MINUTE (in 2017) that he did after taking a break from theatre, and dazzled the audience with his performance.

Arvind Rathod, RIP.
