In a landmark initiative for India's performing arts landscape, The Jeff Goldberg Studio in collaboration with Curated Classics has announced the launch of NatyaVerse — a unique festival that brings together two of the country’s oldest artistic legacies: Theatre and Poetry.
Scheduled to take place on 12th, 13th, and 14th December 2025, NatyaVerse promises to be more than just a cultural spectacle - it is envisioned as an immersive, intimate journey into the depths of regional storytelling. Set within a black-box performance format, the festival will dissolve the traditional divide between performer and audience, fostering a raw, electrifying exchange of energy seldom experienced in mainstream theatre.
What sets NatyaVerse apart is its sharp focus on Regional Indian Languages - from Marathi to Malayalam, Gujarati to Assamese - offering a dedicated platform for voices often sidelined in urban cultural spaces. Each participating production is expected to seamlessly weave the intensity of dramatic performance with the melodic cadence of native-language poetry, creating a hybrid form that is both experimental and deeply rooted.
