Delhi Gets A New Theatre Festival

The Offline Act Theatre Festival scheduled for 28th February and 1st March at Select Citywalk, Saket, Delhi, introduces a new festival at a non-traditional venue, in a mall. This special theatre presentation brings together prominent Bollywood and theatre personalities performing powerful live stage plays: The festival is designed to promote live theatre culture and offer audiences a unique Bollywood-on-stage experience with meaningful storytelling and strong performances, that include Darsheel Safary's Aakhri Local, Makrand Deshpande's Piyakkad and Dear Wife, Himani Shivpuri and Rajendra Gupta's - Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai.

According to Vinaay Bhhardwaj of Shining Sun Studios, the plan is to take the Festival to other cities and promote theatre culture.
