The much-awaited annual Prithvi Theatre has been announced, celebrating 47 years of the beloved Mumbai cultural landmark.
This year's edition, from November 1-17, presents an exciting and diverse lineup, featuring both acclaimed and emerging voices in Indian theatre.
According to a note, audiences can look forward to: • New plays by Yuki Ellias, Mahabanoo Mody Kotwal, Aditya Rawal, Mohit Takalkar, Akarsh Khurana, and Atul Kumar for D For Drama, and Dastangoi. • NT Live screenings of acclaimed National Theatre UK productions, bringing an eclectic experience of English theatre. • Fringe performances at Prithvi House - intimate, experimental works showcasing bold new talent. • StageTalk@Prithvi, hosted once again by Pragya Tiwari, marks its 14th edition. • Indian Classical Dance Performance (Bharatanatyam) - a captivating presentation celebrating the grace and tradition of classical Indian dance. • Platform performances & music concerts, that celebrate the festival's multidisciplinary spirit.
