HAMLET by Pravah Theater in association with the British Council on 19th, 20th July�

Pravah Theatre Laboratory for performance, training and research supported by the British Council Library in Mumbai is putting up a performance of HAMLET at Prithvi theatre on 19th and 20th of July 2005 and on 30th August 2005. The play has been directed by Neeraj Kabi. The production draws on influences from art forms prevalent in India around the time that HAMLET was written. The performance is an adaptation and will include elements of Dhrupad, Yakshagana and Bharatnatyam. The cast includes Seema Adhikary, Shivani Tansale, Vandita Vasa, Neil Bhoopalam, Reshma Shetty, Abhay Kulkarni, Sanatan Chakravarty, Mandar Gokhale, Gaurav Saini, Aliya Shah, Surjeet Haldar and Sanjay Banerjee.
