Jyoti Dogra is an actress cum performance artists who has attempted to create her own contemporary language of performance, working with the body in a manner that is based on impulse than on any particular form. She did a brief stint with the National School of Drama, studied Seraikela Chau at Triveni Kala Sangam from Guru ShashidharAacharya for 8 years, and studied Kathakali at the International Centre for Kathakali for 4 years.

NOTES ON CHAI is a collection of snippets of everyday conversations interwoven with abstract sound explorations that, together, create a series of images and conversations simultaneously in the everyday world and at the edge of it, encouraging the spectator to attempt to relocate his / her relationship with the quotidian.
