Global Performing Arts, an organization dedicated to the production, promotion, and preservation of the arts - music, dance, literature, poetry and film--is organising what promises to be an enthralling event-- a chat with Shabana Azmi. The actress and activist is well-read, well-informed and very articulate. So those who log on to the event are in for a treat.

"Join us for an interesting, intimate and impassioned conversation with the inimitable Shabana Azmi," says the group's social media post. "She will talk about her unparalleled work in film, theatre and television - her serious concerns and dedication to social issues and her strong beliefs in the world order. "

Azmi will be in conversation with Manjula Kumar and Uday Kamath. The online programme, is free for viewers and will be livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube.
