Gurgaon's English theatre scene continues to grow stronger as Theatrecian and Go To Scale once again collaborate with The Piano Man, Gurgaon, to present two celebrated modern classics. Over the past few productions, this partnership has steadily built a loyal audience for quality theatre, establishing Gurgaon as an emerging destination for thought-provoking stage productions in India.

This season features the return of Edward Albee's acclaimed drama WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?, a play renowned for its emotional intensity and complex relationships. Kamalini Roy takes on the challenging role of Martha, offering a fresh interpretation of one of contemporary theatre's most iconic characters. Adding a unique creative dimension, director Tathagata Chowdhury introduces live piano performances by Martha, blending retro classics with the unfolding psychological drama. Promising young actor Yuvraj Surana joins the production as Nick, completing the powerful ensemble.

Alongside it, audiences can experience Harold Pinter's celebrated play THE LOVER. Starring Rohit Raghav and Theres Thomas, the production explores the fragile boundaries between marriage, fantasy, and desire through Pinter's signature style of tension, silence, and ambiguity.

Leading both productions is producer Tulika Shankar, whose banner Go To Scale has quickly established itself as one of the most exciting theatre production houses in the Delhi NCR region. Besides producing both plays, she also performs the role of Honey in WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?. Director Tathagata Chowdhury brings his internationally recognised expertise to both productions, known for creating deeply layered performances and psychologically rich storytelling.

For Indian theatre lovers, theatre artists, performers, and production houses, this double bill promises an unforgettable celebration of two timeless masterpieces that continue to resonate with audiences today.
